From the time she booked her winter wedding at Park Château, Lauren (pictured, above) had a clear vision of her bridal style. As the Assistant General Manager of Bridal Reflections on 5th Avenue, Lauren comes in close contact with countless wedding gowns every day. When she became a bride herself, she found inspiration in her surroundings, creating the custom gown of her dreams.

I came across a beautiful Galia Lahav Couture gown that I wanted to base my design at a Bridal Reflections trunk show,” says Lauren, upon discovering the foundation of her dream dress. “I still had my own vision, however. I wanted a sheer lightweight ball gown with a cat eye “V” neckline, low back, and detachable sheer puff sleeves. I’d never seen these elements in another gown before.”

Calling on the amazingly talented Sharon Sever who designs with Galia Lahav, together they invented the design that mirrored Lauren’s vision. “I had on three different gowns on at the same time just to show the look I was going for,” Lauren recalls. During her appointment, Sharon sketched out exactly what she’d been dreaming of.

Sharon: "Designing a wedding dress for such a knowledgeable and experienced girl is a big challenge, Lauren knows exactly what fits her, and she knows each of my designs thoroughly. Much Love is put in this dress but of course it is Lauren herself makes it so amazing."

Lauren came face-to-face with the final design two weeks before her wedding day, and she could not have been more elated. “Perfection takes time, but it was well worth the wait. A completely exclusive gown, it will not be worn or sold to anyone else!
