Sorry, Shakespeare. All That Glitters Is Gold.

Bride, Estee (pictured with husband Ira) is a professional from within the New York area’s private events industry. She lives, breathes, and loves weddings and has worked on many at some of the area’s top venues. She even has her own wedding-themed podcast; “The Bridetender”.
In planning her own wedding at Long Island's Heritage Club, Estee chose gold for most of her wedding’s accents and details, big and small.
Says Estee: “I wanted to have a bow on my cake. It’s so cute and sweet. I also didn’t want typical white. I thought the green would match the room and the gold bow would really jump out against the cake.”
The gold cake stand was Estee’s. She bought it years ago… just to have. Then, so it would match her vision, she and Ira spray painted it gold.
The cake itself- by Vincenzo Salvatore Cakes- had three different flavors; a layer of rainbow cookie cake, chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and caramel, and vanilla cake with white chocolate and caramel.
