77 Years!

77 years ago this U.S. Naval Academy Midshipman married this (then) recent college graduate. Today, over three quarters of a century later, the couple has some advice on marriage.

They have some advice on how to sustain a relationship: They never go to bed angry. They found shared interests and hobbies, like skiing, bird watching and fly fishing. But they also had the good fortune of enjoying each other’s company.

By the way, the groom later became the 39th President of The United States Of America.
