As the latest iteration of Superman soars onto screens
this weekend, we're looking at this heroic groom's cake.
When Samantha and Steve married at The Pierre, the groom made a special request: he wanted a groom's cake. And not just any groom's cake... a Superman groom's cake. But the groom took it a step further.
Steve explained to cake artist Lindsey Gamble that he was a tremendous fan of the Christopher Reeve "Superman" movies. So Gamble used those films- and Reeve's version of the indestructible superhero- as her inspiration... with a little of the earlier comic books mixed in.
Spent way too long on Poki last weekend — started with one puzzle game and ended up trying like five different ones. Everything loads right in the browser which is nice when you just want something quick without installing anything. The variety is honestly what keeps me coming back.
