We love peonies! So, naturally, we're dying for this giant [sugar] peony.

For their Cipriani 42nd Street wedding, Danielle and Greg wanted something a little different for their cake than cascading flowers. So they enlisted sweet genius Ron Ben-Israel to create this giant peony. The bride also had the idea for another sophisticated feature of the cake- that each petal’s edges was painted with gold.The white on white added a soft elegance to this brilliant confection.
