Just A Little Color

In putting together our photo shoot with Eva Amurri and her darling daughter, Marlowe, for their magazine feature, Happily Eva After, we inserted bursts of colors into each image. This was meant to give each spread within the feature a bit of a magical feel.

The Castle's green grass, the blue sofa with blush accent pillows from AFR, the magenta-hued Ron Ben-Israel cakes... and, of course, Eva's flaming crimson locks. Throughout the feature, most of the splashes of color were assigned to Marlowe, the feature's Junior Bridesmaid.

However, in one photo, we gave Eva a very subdued tone. We didn't want to go too bold. At least not until the last dress/page of the feature (don't skip ahead yet!).

Krismil Bridal's fawn colored gown (pictured above) was perfect. Like the other dresses in the feature, this gown had an air of importance- a regality. And the shape of the dress was excellent for... well... Eva's shape! But the color was just enough for a pop, and just subtle enough to create the proper mood for this tender mother-daughter moment.

OK, OK... that last dress. Every bride needs a sexy getaway dress (or a cake dress). We closed the feature with this seductive gold Paula Hian creation. And Eva slayed it!
