JLM FALL 2017
JLM COUTURE FALL 2017 COLLECTIONS FEATURING HAYLEY PAIGE

JLM Couture debuted its Fall 2017 Collections at New York Bridal Fashion Week and we are just loving Hayley Paige's latest gowns! The perfect blend of magic and whimsy, the latest line to hit the runway exudes refined taste and budding detail. "When I think of this new collection, I picture Ginger Rogers dancing the bongo drums in Black Rock City during a sand storm. As spontaneous as it may sound, it feels like lightening in a bottle, which is my main theme," said designer Hayley Paige about her muse for the new collections.

MARCHESA SPRING 2018
 MARCHESA SPRING 2018 COLLECTION

The Marchesa Spring 2018 collection is a promenade along the leafy hedge-lined pathways of Castle Howard, a prominent brick-walled garden in England. A paradise of intoxicating florals, the collection is rooted in the serene, yet vibrant beauty of the majestic garden. Enchanting ruffle bows and feathered flower details embellish open-back gowns and dropped-waist bodices. Silver beaded threadwork and 3D pearl embroidery are layered over romantic Chantilly lace underlay and delicate illusion tulle. Engineered corded lace and shirred tulle ruffles add texture to off-the-shoulder gowns and cocktail dresses. Strapless fit-and-flare gowns are crafted in silk faille and stretch crepe while ball gowns are draped in taffeta and feature constructed lace bodices. Classic silhouettes take new form with bell sleeves and detachable embroidered tulle capes and overskirts.

 MONIQUE LHUILLIER SPRING 2018
monique lhuillier

Monique Lhuillier met New York Bridal Fashion Week with a regal sense of grace to offer a tulle-gloved hand.

Chandelier boleros anoint shoulders with a sense of ceremony, while trellises of embroidery and beading creep up skirts and hug sculpted bodices close to the waist. Webs of pearls stretch around the form, setting a dew on the lightest of blushing tulles in latte and cappuccino. Elsewhere the tilt of a feathered skirt exaggerates the slightest movement.

The pure simplicity of sleek stretch-satin gowns fitted to the body give way to exuberant explosions of tulle, extreme trains and dramatic volume. The curved folds of lace textured wings flutter around the skirt of a sweetheart neckline, their volume in contrast to sensual scallop-edged Chantilly lace gowns. A bold stroke hand-paints one hem white on white, in others structure breaks into a cascade of tulle and lace. Hand-cut roses in cloud-hued silk organza open to reveal a gown made of pure romance.
