Holiday Gift Suggestion: Bob Dylan's New Whiskey!

Music Legend Bob Dylan Is Knockin' On Whiskey's Door

With Halloween in our rear view mirrors, we can now feel the coming Holiday Shopping Season racing toward us. With that in mind, it's time for some gift suggestions!

We recently had a photo shoot for our magazine with a new whiskey called Heaven's Door. Here and there, the people involved with the shoot did a little sampling. And when the shoot was wrapped, we did some drinking! ...because the whiskey was fantastic!!

And who is behind this new whiskey? None other than music legend Bob Dylan. Bob Dylan has been welded into the music and pop culture lexicon for decades. Since he first set foot on Bleecker Street in New York City's Greenwich Village, his gritty voice and a pure poetry in his lyrics have built his iconic status.

Earlier this year Dylan partnered with Master Distiller Jordan Via, Ryan Perry, and Spirit Investment Partners to bring Heaven's Door Whiskey to life. Heaven’s Door is a collection of super-premium American whiskeys. The portfolio features a Straight Rye Whiskey, a seven-year-old Tennessee Straight Bourbon Whiskey, and a Double Barrel Whiskey. A limited 10-year-old Tennessee Straight Bourbon Whiskey debuts this month.

"We wanted to create a collection of American whiskeys that, in their own way, tell a story," says Dylan, adding: "I've been traveling for decades, and I've been able to try some of the best spirits that the world of whiskey has to offer. This is great whiskey."

Each bottle features Bob Dylan's distinctive iron gate that he created in his studio, Black Buffalo Ironworks, from objects found on farms and scrapyards across America. Future plans include the "Bootleg Series," featuring rare stocks, special blends, and unique barrel finishes packaged in hand-made porcelain bottles featuring Dylan's paintings.
